Penn Commercial supports Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS)

Penn Commercial is pleased to support Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) with a donation of a Sum Up machine.

Jo Rogers of SARS said:

"I would like to thank you very much for your donation of a Sum Up machine, very kindly given to one of our volunteers, Sue Groom. This will have a big impact on how she is able to take donations, especially in today's climate, where the way of the world appears to be going cash-free!

"2024 has already been a really busy year for SARS and our responders have been mobilised over 150 times in the last 3 months, across varying locations in Suffolk.

"Any donation given to SARS helps towards our ongoing running costs, such as providing PPE, drugs and vital medical supplies for our volunteer clinicians. They are an amazing bunch of people and in the last year gave over 7,000 hours of advanced pre-hospital medical care throughout Suffolk and its border areas - all on a voluntary basis and at no cost to the patient."

Vanessa Penn, Managing Director of Penn Commercial, said:

"SARS is a very good local charity and they are organising a CPR/DEFIB training session for all of the Penn team."
